Eagles Nest Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Eagles Nest Spirits whiskey

  • 1 sugar cube

  • 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters

  • 1 orange peel

  • Ice (preferably a large ice cube or sphere)

  • Maraschino cherry for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glass: Place the sugar cube in an old-fashioned glass. Add the bitters on top of the sugar cube.

  2. Muddle: Muddle the sugar and bitters together using a muddler until the sugar is mostly dissolved.

  3. Add Whiskey: Pour the Eagles Nest whiskey over the muddled sugar and bitters.

  4. Stir: Fill the glass with ice (preferably a large cube or sphere). Stir gently for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

  5. Garnish: Express the orange peel over the glass by holding it over the drink and giving it a twist to release its oils. Drop the peel into the glass. Optionally, add a maraschino cherry for extra flair.

Enjoy your classic Old Fashioned with a touch of Eagles Nest Spirits!
